Dr Edmund O’Leary is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a sub-specialty interest in disorders of the foot and ankle that can occur due to wear and tear, sports injuries or an accident. He performs arthroscopic, reconstructive, and replacement surgery of the foot and ankle with a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques for foot and ankle surgery.

Dr O’Leary graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine, UK. He went on to do his basic surgical training in Wales, attaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, MRCS (Eng). He completed his orthopaedic training in Sydney, being awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in January 2016. Dr O’Leary completed post-fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery in Bristol, UK. On returning to Sydney he completed the Sydney Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship. He lives with his wife, a physiotherapist and daughter on the North Shore.
